romance

Whether you are looking for a long-term relationship or just casual dating, you will find numerous free dating services online. It’s important to remember, however, that each one has its own definition of free. Though not as many as there were a few years ago, some sites are completely free, including the matching and contact phase while other sites only offer profile viewing for free. If you want to actually contact someone or have him or her contact you, it’s necessary to obtain a premium membership, which varies according to the site you, use.

When searching for a free dating service, it’s important to check several different ones as they offer different services within their free membership, and you want to make certain that you have exactly what you need. If you’re looking for more than just a photo profile, you will more than likely need to choose a site that offers that service, and it is not likely to be free. For those who are content with a profile and photograph, the free sites will give you just what you want. You will still be able to choose from different profiles and input your requirements in order to come up with those profiles that match what you want.

The most important thing about free dating services is for you to remember when you find one that is 100% free, you will not find the same features as you do with a site for which you must pay. There will be a more basic type of membership that what you will find with a paid membership, and as long as you understand that, you should have no problem navigating around the site and choosing someone that interests you. Take your time when you choose a site, and take even more time when you choose someone you would like to know better.

Choosing Romance or Friendship

When you meet someone new, maybe you know if you want romance or friendship, but if you don’t, how will you know? If you don’t know before you enter into the relationship, you probably won’t know afterwards, either—at least not right away. That isn’t a bad thing, however; you need to develop a friendship before you develop a romance in order to get to know the person you are dating. In most cases, going straight from not know them to dating them romantically prevents the natural flow of friendship development that is important to insure that the relationship gets off to the right start.

Sometimes it’s a difficult move to make, especially if you have been alone, and you want someone in your life, but the transition from single to romantic involvement is not always the right choice to make. It’s more important to get to know someone and be sure that person is the kind of person you want to date before you develop a full-blown romance that later goes belly up. The worst that will happen is you will have the company of another male or female friend if the meeting doesn’t develop beyond the friendship stage. It’s important to remember some people make better friends than lovers, and if the vibes aren’t there for romance, go with the friendship.

The reality is that you don’t have to choose one or the other. Meet different people, get to know them, and let nature take its course and lead you in the right direction if and when the time comes. Not everyone is dating material, so it isn’t necessary to look at it that way. You can even take your male or female friend and go places without having to be committed. Enjoy what you have and let the cards fall where they may.

lovesongs
Songs help to define a generation. They can be commentaries about the political atmosphere of the time. The artists that sing them influence fashion, the media, and even politics.

Love songs are even more important. They mark the most memorable moments of our lives: weddings, romantic evenings. Love, and romance. Here we have compiled a list of the best love songs of all time.

(please digg and reddit this article, that motivates me to publish new posts)

Night and Day by Cole Porter (1932)

Cole Porter is considered one of the greatest folk singers of all time. This song tells a tale of life in torment. The torment won’t stop unless the object of his desires, “Till you let me spend my life making love to you, day and night, night and day.” A simple lyric and melody. Yet Porter pulls it off in a way this is haunting.

Unchained Melody Alex North and Hy Zaret (1936)

Hy Zaret was only 16 years old when he wrote the lyrics to this song. It was originally a poem that he wrote for a girl he had a crush on and was to shy to talk to. The song first appeared in 1955 when it was nominated for a Best Song Oscar for the movie Unchained. The most popular version of this song is the one done by the Righteous Brothers, who had a hit with the song twice, once in 1965 and then again in 1990. Considered by many to be the best love song of all time; Unchained Melody has been recorded by over 700 artists including, Elvis Presley, U2, Leann Rimes, Neil Diamond and Willie Nelson.

I Will Always Love You by Dolly Parton (1974)

This is the classic tear jerker, heartbreak song. Dolly Parton had a number one country hit with this song. Whitney Houston would re record it some 18 years later. Houston’s version was cross over hit reaching the tops of the adult contemporary, hip hop and pop charts. Most Houston fans were surprised to find out that it was originally a country music song.

Cherish by Terry Kirkman (1966)

This song about unrequited love was written in only 30 minutes. It’s lyrical content is so strong that it’s story of unrequited love goes unnoticed among the feelings of how precious love is. This is a favorite at weddings.

Your Song by Elton John and Bernie Taupin (1967)

This song captures the purity and simplicity of love. Bernie Taupin wrote the song in 20 minutes during breakfast.

In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel (1986)

This powerful song unites passion with spirituality.

One by U2 (1993)

Bono’s lyrics tell a story commitment and heartache. He asks the question, “how can one stay committed when there is heartache all around.” It is believed that the song is really about the human spirit, God and one’s faith being tested by the problems of the world.

The Decision to Use Dating Services

admin | Dating | Monday, 03 September 2007

After you have gone the ropes with the local scene, and haven’t found anyone that meets your expectations, it’s time to consider using one of the dating services. No matter where you live, you have access to various places, including those that offer executive dating, military online dating, online speed dating, and online teen dating just to name a few of the various types of dating services of which you can take advantage. That doesn’t even count all of the many different countries where you can access dating services including online dating games and online tests.

What kind of dating services can you expect to find from an agency such as Ok Dating? Though OK has some services that differ from other dating services, all of them offer the opportunity for you to post your profile for others to read, and thus strike the interest of another member. That member can then send you a message, and you can decide if you wish to have communication with him or her. Some services also allow you to include photographs with your profiles, although there are a few that charge for this service. However, if you look around, you will find that many don’t charge, and you also want to b careful because some dating services only allow you to send messages to other members if you buy a subscription to their service.

With dating services, you avoid having to take the time to go places where you might meet eligible singles. There is, of course, no guarantee, and those who do go to the places that you go may not have anything in common with you and may even have significant others. After all, they are technically still single unless they are married and even the married ones get a charge out of playing mind games. Of course, even those who sign up with the various dating agencies can do the same thing, but you have more of a selection from which to choose, so if one doesn’t work out, you can find another one much easier than would be the case if it happened with someone that you met in a local singles’ hangout. In addition, you can choose from someone in another state or country if you aren’t quite ready to meet someone locally. Of course, if you are looking for a long-term commitment, you want to choose someone close7r to home. That doesn’t mean that you can correspond with others, but if you want something more than online dating, you should choose from those who are closer to your home.

One important thing to remember when using dating services is they have new members signing up daily, What this means for you as a single looking for dates is the database is always being updated with new profiles and photos, so if you don’t find someone that appeals to you today, you may find someone tomorrow or the next day. Never forget to check on the dating services for an agency before you sign up in order to be assured that you are dealing with a reputable organization.
